You might have noticed I have submitted two entries for 's contest lately. The voting for the contest has begun, and the series of polls for each category can be found at this page : [link] (all the categories being in the Poll History, at the moment all of them aren't up yet).

That goes without saying, every vote I can get until Friday (the day the winners will be announced) would greatly help me get at least one prize, especially in the Matsuri category against DracheaRannak and her 1M+ pageviews (last time I checked, popularity does help to get more votes in contests >_< )

Procedure for commissioning me :

• Make sure I'm open for commissions by looking at the "Commission status" part of my journal


• Send me a note describing what you want me to draw so we can discuss about it, and the price


• When the subject is discussed, I draw a rough sketch of the commission


• If there are changes to be made on the rough, tell me at that point so I can modify it


• When you find the rough satisfying, send me the payment (through Paypal only)


• As soon as I receive the payment, I start working on the final artwork


• When the artwork is done, I send the full size artwork (in png format so there is no quality loss) and upload a small size version of the artwork on my gallery

Other important things to read and keep in mind :
________________________________________

• That should be quite obvious but since I had a bad experience before, I have to mention it : write in comprehensive english ! I really shouldn't have to decode what you want to say. Messages that aren't written in plain english will be simply ignored.


• Similarly, I shouldn't have to decode what you want exactly, so try to be as clear as possible when describing your idea, visual references are very welcomed as they will make things easier for me (and eventually faster).



• Another very important fact to keep in mind, it takes a freakin' damn long time for me to work on commissions ! Firstly because I'm no professional so I need time to do things well, secondly because my speed is considerably influenced by how inspired I am at a given time, and finally because I'm still a student and thus I can only work on commissions on my spare time. Asking me for a "how long this will take" is pointless and will often result with a "don't know" answer.


• Similarly, spamming my note box/journal/main page will not make things faster, but will rather annoy the crap out of me and make me want to rush things.



• I work on sizes close to A4 format, 300 dpi (base resolution of 2480x3508 pixels, though I tend to stretch and crop the picture several times)



• I receive payments through Paypal only



• I'll be very picky with any commission that would concern my original characters. They're attached to a story and a universe for which I wish to maintain a certain coherence, so I reserve the right to refuse commissions that would break that continuity.

Well, I had hoped at the beginning of August that I'd still have plenty of energy to work on artworks and Metaworld, but after one month and a half away, I just couldn't help but spend a month by mostly gaming and online gaming. Didn't get a grasp of Photoshop or Painter for almost that whole time, and got back to it just recently. I've already drawn one or two linearts, but I've still got to get back to coloring before submitting them. Basically, what is to come are a commission, one or two Metaworld artworks, and one or two artworks for a contest, most probably. Metaworld will come after that, when I'm fully operational again.

And yeah, I'm back to university for my 1st year or master's degree, but that will be no big deal for the times to come. Just need to get used to drawing with a pencil again xD
